How We Started

In early 2002, the founders of viaPeople began to imagine a company with a business model that was different from any other company in the human resources software industry. While other players imagined thousands of customers using the same inflexible, standard software, we decided to take the opposite approach: to build and deliver best-of-breed products designed by subject-matter experts with the flexibility to meet the unique requirements of even the most demanding customers—all with a focus on product, relationship management, and unprecedented service quality.
